my intention was never to truly leave fandom or this journal. i've been hiding out, but that got found out, so, it's kind of done.

some of you were there, some of you weren't, but what's done is done, and now i'm in a time in my life where i need this again. i don't know that i need it as much as i did when i was in college, when i was fanficcing all the time, but i know that i need it.

anyway, the point is, i'm here now. i'm there, too. but i am a fan from way back, and that's what this journal is about for me now, it's a place to do that without too much preening about my RL (of course, RL gets in...)

we'll see if i do what i want to with this, but for now, this is what i can do...
